My research explores the use of smart materials, in particular magnetorheological fluid, as a means of simplifying the control of soft robots. Results have so far been very successful, and my first paper on the topic should be out by the end of the year.

My primary contribution to this project was the development and testing of the mechanical model used to predict the final bending angle of the sensor.
